1/4
An impressive number, whether it is profit growth, waste reduction or even percentage of a new power in any field. If you are a long distance runner, and you beat your opponents by 1/4, you do a great victory.
But how about doing 3/4?
Well, all of us knows, that the amount energy, that an average car uses is far above the necessary and even the needed amounts. And we have not mentioned the CO2 factor yet…
If there would be a car, which CO2 emission can be 2.0-3,3kg/100km, instead of the current lowest 9-14kg/100km, there is no doubt, that I will be one of the first to get it, as it is positioned to
- environmentally conscious people, companies and institutions
- people living a healthy lifestyle
- individuals and families with a sense of responsibility for the future
We should not have to wait too long. Solo is coming, the future is here!

Solo in/from nature
The mass-car of the future, the emission and waste fighter weights now 500 kg, and 350 kg(!) when it will be launced 2012, with some real special “ECO Bond” features.
Say what? 2in1?
Imagine, that you go for a ride with 2 guest of yours, and the small friend, which has the power of 15 horses,
which is enought to reach 100km/h in 10 seconds, and will carry you far away with your sustainable dreams by the 4 wheel-brain-engine, situated in the wheels(!). You are grabbing the electricity driven steering (well, it is really not a wheel) “something”, accelerating with your fingers upt to 140km/h.
A friend calls you, to meet with his Solo car, and create a Duo from the Solo. So let’s go together in
one car?!!??!
The more I got to know about this car, the deeper I have fallen in love with it. The concept tells everything, the story is like a dream, the design is from the future. Unfortunately, it is hidden in the beautiful west side of Hungary, just like the webpage of the Antro group, which says a lot about the history, technology and innovation, which is in and around this car’s spirit.
In their own words:
The frame and body of the three-passenger car (which will “lose some weight” prior to serial manufacture) are made of carbon fiber composite. The drive is by 4 individual electric hub motors. The hybrid operation is created by use of the newest Li-ion batteries, as well as the multifuel motor-generator that starts up at higher speeds (this is not yet in the current prototype), and by the pedal generators, which also make it possible to exercise while traveling. The high-efficiency solar cells positioned on the roof collect, on average, enough energy to go 15-25 km at city speeds. Expected fuel efficiency for the 3.12 m long, 1.92 m wide I+SOLO will be less than 1.8 l/100 km.
