Anders Wijkman, former speaker at Globe Forum, has been appointed as “world’s best Swedish EU-parliamentarian” by the environmental and assistance organization Concord.
Wijkman got the prize because he showed that it actually is possible to combat poverty and climate threats as an elected politician. The appointment is an encouragement for those who where recently elected to the EU parliament.
